USB wont connect

Have the Devo 7e. Installed 2 modules, flashed it with 4.0.1, put new models in and everything is all fine and dandy. Over a few months, I got rid of some helicopters and quads and got newer ones and went back to update the models in my Tx and tried to connect it to the PC and the computer isn't recognizing the Tx. I tried on 3 computers and nothing. The cable is fine. The Tx is showing the USB on the screen but nothing is happening on the computer end.
As you can imagine, frustration is starting to set it.
Any ideas?

Have you went into your hardware manager and conformed the computer is seeing the devo and loading the appropriate drivers for it?


You're using the ENT button for USB drive mode (NOT bootloader / DIY mode)?

I am in USB drive mode, shows the USB symbol on the Tx.
I did go to hardware manager but not sure where to go after that or what to look for.
EDIT- The computer didn't find anything in the hardware manager. USB ports are working fine.

found problem #1- The USB port on the TX was not making a good connection, and when I plugged the cable back in the last time, she broke! oh boy.
