Devo 10 having a Glich was created by jbewley
It would appear that My Devo 10 has a virus or something, as it is acting strangely. Sticks are in Mode 2 but react as if in Mode 1 and now it will not let me reload Deviation.

Is there a processor or hard drive, so to speak, tha can be replaced in the Devo 10 tx???

When you mount it as a USB drive, you can format the drive. The mode 1/mode 2 issues sounds like a bug we believe is fixed, but the inability to reload deviation is a new one. Well, maybe. Exactly what is going wrong when you try and install deviation?

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

I load the firmware via the DfUs tool. Next i open under USB, format the drive, copy and drag the files into the drive.

When I turn the TX on, the main screen (helicopter and trim bars are not there. It just says "Model1". I press ent and all the other screens are there.

I go to Tx config. Scroll down to "main page config". Hit "load" and I get "H:O Y:O".

Hi jbewley.
Is this the first time you are installing deviation on a Devo transmitter?
If so:
I would suggest you start again from scratch (including downloading deviation )
How to upgrade Devo TX to Deviation Firmware
Which DFUse tool do you use?
You can get it from there: walkera-fans.de/downloads/

Ok, Deviation loaded correctly this time. I did not use one of the "nightly builds" so the file is simply "Devo10-v4.0.1", with no letters afterwards.

Only problem is the file does not include the "KN" protocol I need for my FX070C heli. It was also missing the "hardware" file. I added it separately.

Is there a file for the DN protocol, ir should I try another version??

4.0.1 doesn't use a hardware.ini file, and will ignore the addition.

If 4.0.1 doesn't include the KN protocol, you'll needed to install the nightly to get it. You may also needed to change the wording on any additional modules you have installed to get the best performance.

All is good again. I honestly can not tell you what I did, but after several tries, the program took, the KN protocol was there and I got my moodle loaded. B)

Thanks for the guidance guys.
