I got a few of them from Bangood at the time and it looks like they are not available there atm... have seen them recommended here before tho:
WALKERA (WK-DEVO-S-MOD) DEVO 8 or 12 to DEVO 8S or 12S Upgrade Module

File this under FWIW k... you're probably better than me with soldering (I think most folks are... )
If you're inexperienced or don't have much background experience with desoldering, there is a real risk in tearing/ripping the soldering pads right off of your Devo. I've done three of the WK-DEVO-S-MOD modules and that's exactly what happened to one of mine... snarg.
There is something that will help, and for me, worked like magic in removing the original CYRF without damaging anything. (also works fantastically for removing pins from say a new Nrf module): ChipQuick:
ChipQuik SMD1 Leaded Low Temperature Removal Kit
www.amazon.com/ChipQuik-SMD1-Leaded-Temp...emoval/dp/B0019UZP7I
EEVblog #437 - Removing SMD Parts with ChipQuik
...that, and using a little larger tip on the soldering iron which will allow you to get in there and out - quick:
Hakko T18D16P Tip for Fx-888 Station, 1.6mm
www.amazon.com/Hakko-T18D16P-Fx-888-Station-1-6mm/dp/B004OR9BV4
Hakko T18-DL2 Tip Chisel 2 x 22.5mm for Hakko FX-888/FX-8801
www.amazon.com/Hakko-T18-DL2-Chisel-22-5...X-8801/dp/B00762AHHQ
Like I said, with my hamfisted soldering/desoldering, ChipQuick made all the difference/made it easy! The solder that comes on the stock CYRF module is I think, non-leaded or whatever, and takes a higher temp on your iron to work with. I love this stuff:
Kester 44 Rosin Core Solder 63/37 .020 1 lb. Spool

hth...

You're welcome, nope just WK-DEVO-S-MOD, A7105 & Nrf. I have a few of the cc2500 modules that I originally planned on using on the bigger/faster quads with a Lemon or Orange, but ended up getting a Taranis so have not used those. Yet...
