Quick A7105 & NRF24L01 module question was created by HockeyZ39
I recently purchased a DEVO 7E and plan to purchase the required modules for controlling my Hubsan x4's (not plus) and Eachine H8 quads. I ran into quite a few different A7105 and NRF24L01 module models while performing my search so I just wanted to confirm these specific modules from banggood are what I need.

XL7105-D03 A7105 (for the Hubsan x4's) - I saw the other XL7105-D03 A7105 module from banggood (out of stock) linked in a few different threads, but never came across this one specifically. Other than being in stock I am not sure what the difference is between the other XL7105-D03 A7105 module. Both seem to have the same power output boost.

Transmitter Tuner Modified NRF24L01 (for the Eachine H8's) - I saw so many NRF24L01 modules but got the impression that this is the only one that is boosted (from banggood at least).

I have all the install/tutorial info ready to go, just wanted to confirm these specific models before pulling the trigger. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I have in my devo10 a NRF Modul found in eBay NRF+ Adurino compatibel it works fine and A7105 modul come from China. Both moduls are working excellent.

you can buy this ones by banggood .. but you will find similar elsewhere

I have a look in my account now .. I prefer the A7105 500 cause of the 500 meter distance
Think I have read here in a thread and my NRF has an SMA antenna connector and was with SMA antenna cheaper

I knew the A7105 and NRF24L01 modules were the ones I need, I just wanted to confirm the specific ones I linked from Banggood would be suitable.

Since there are two XL7105-D03's on banggood that I cannot tell the difference between and there are so many NRF24L01 modules out there I just wanted to confirm with the experts before ordering. Especially since shipping from China is not a fast process. :)

Sorry for my replay - i am no expert - i have only modded my DEVO 10 and now I will do it with a second one and with a F12E. And I know the time delay from China for my first project I was a little exited so I by one modul with a shorter distance from my place.

Maybe one expert here in the forum will answer YES to your question.

Both modules ar OK. This A7105 does not have an antenna, you need to solder one on with this module.

TomPeer, thank you very much for confirmation. I figured no antenna based on the pictures, but all of the user pictures show the same antenna and some of the reviews mention an antenna as well. Honestly I'll buy it either way, I should have a few 2.4ghz antennas laying around I could solder on.

I removed the crummy monopole antenna that came on mine, soldered on a u.FL connector, and used a dipole antenna like the one that is with the nRF module that you are getting.

Did you surface mount the u.FL connector? If so where did you locate them? I looked for some a while back didn't have much luck.

Got mine from Amazon. Kind of expensive at $5 for two pieces, but they were on my doorstep in two days.

Here's a pic of my soldering job. It is a bit tricky to get it done because it is so small. Liquid flux on the 3 module pads and u.FL connector, tin only the center pad of the module, position the u.FL, apply iron to the protruding tab of the u.FL until it melts the solder of the tinned pad and the u.FL connector is seated down, let it cool for a little while, then solder the two outer pads (the flux that you put on earlier will wick the solder in).
