Devo 7E with deviation for liftoff on mac

Has anyone managed to use a devo with deviation on the mac version of the liftoff simulator?

I would prefer to use the trainer port as the usb port is slightly oddly positioned.

I managed to get it working on my gaming rig (windows 10) using a usb adapter connected to the transmitter, outputting ppm.

Would be great to have it on the laptop too for some sofa-simulation. The would open up the possibility to fly using the tv as a screen too.

Edit: Seems to work when setting the usb-dongle to aerofly.
