Hello.

I tried and tried, but i´m not able to find out how i could solve my problem.
here we go: i have a devo7e, deviation installed, two extra switches installed (3 position).
my wanted scenario: when i switch to FMOD0, i want to use SW B1 and SW B0 with channel 8 (nothing else is used for channel 8 ), values -100 for SW B1 and 100 for SW B0.
when FMOD is switched to FMOD1, SW B1 and SW B0 should be used with channel 7.

actually i have SW B1 and SW B0 and SW B2 on channel 7, but without any relation to switch fmod.

what exactly do i have to do?

Greets and thank you for your help, complex mixer is driving me crazy, this should be developed to a user-friendly GUI, i dont know why there is no option for "if you activate switch x, switch y is assigned to channel whatever". :blink:

Hey, it's actually not so hard. You need two single page mixers, one per channel mix. In the one for ch8 you choose switch=FMODE0, mux=replace, Src=SW B0, Curve=1-to-1 and scale=100. For ch7 the same but switch=FMODE1. That should do it!

If you really need the three positions of the switch you can use a virtual channel as source. Then, in the virtual channel mixer you allocate the switch positions to the values you want.

thank you very much!
oh, yes, i need the three positions indeed.
i dont know hot to set up the virtual channels, what do i have to do to assign SW B 2 to -100, SW B1 to 0 and SW B0 to 100, when FMOD0 is switched?

thanks in advance

You're welcome!
And not exactly... the assigning FMOD0 part is done in the mixer of the channel (in your case ch8 and ch7)
The part where you use SW B as input is done in the virtual channel. So there you assign SW B2 to -100, SW B1 to 0 and SW B0 to 100 indeed.
The easiest way to do the whole thing would be with the following mixes:
Virt1
Expo&DR
High-rate=fixed
Scale=100
Switch1=SW B1
Mid rate=fixed
Scale1=0
Switch2=SW B2
Low-rate=fixed
Scale2=-100

Then you have a virtual channel where the input is the position of SW B. The output of this virtual channel can then be used as input in ch7 and ch8.
So for ch7 and ch8 you do what described in the previous post but with the virtual channel as source (Src=Virt1)

Ch8 (Ch7)
Complex
mixers=1
page=1
switch=FMODE0 (FMODE1)
mux=replace
Src=Virt1
Curve=1-to-1

That's it. For your understanding, you are working in two layers to be able to use one switch to activate the other switch.

Glad I could help. May I ask, what are you doing with such mix?

my devo 7e has only 4 switches, two 2position and two 3position, thats a total of 7 modes i can choose via tx:
- hold1 is flightmode1 off, hold0 is flightmode1 on
- SW A0 is flightmode2, SW A1 flightmode 3, SW A2 flightmode4
- SW B0 is flightmode5, SW B1 flightmode 6, SW B2 no flightmode (has to be used, so that neither flighmode5 nor 6 is used)
- FMODE 0 flighmode 7 on, FMODE1 flighmode7 off

i have to use so many flighmodes because of the many features/possibilities i have with my flightcontroller, and i dont want to have only a few available.
so with the addition of a channel, i can extend my number of flightmodes.

Can't youi just use the 2 3-position switches to have 9 flite modes?

not really, some flightmodes have to be enabled at the same time, sometimes even 3 or 4 modes

I see,
That, indeed, makes it complicated.
