Buttons as switches in Deviation files.

In the "Mired in RC" tutorial on Deviation, ir is said that
"Button switches
Any of the buttons on the transmitter, including those used for navigating the transmitter configuration, can be used as a virtual switch. This requires setting them up as trims for a virtual channel, and then using the virtual channel as a switch".
How are these buttons labelled, in order to be referenced in the mixers?

Try here: www.deviationtx.com/manuals/html-devo10/...-as-a-virtual-switch

You have to assign them to the virtual channels first.

It's the same. just select the buttons instead of the trims in "TRIM -" and "TRIM +".

That's the introductory tutorial. If you go the "writing a deviationTx model" tutorial, the last section covers the various uses of buttons as inputs (toggle switches, momentary switches, even a replacement for an analog input) in detail.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

Slightly off topic; switches and sticks could be just moved and get detected entered in the setup fields, for trims I opened a bug at the time, as when moving a trim switch it is not detected, must be manually scrolled.
