Devo 7 (NOT 7e) upgrade help was created by pherder
I am looking for the instructions to flash a Devo 7 with deviation firmware (i.e. the latest nightly build) but for the life of me, I cannot find where those instructions are!
I do have the UP02 adapter and have flashed my Devo 7 to the latest firmware located on the German site without much problem and have flashed my F12E, F7e, and 10 but all those have good instructions and are currently running.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
Paul

the devo7 is not compatible with deviation firmware bud, the only 7ch deviation transmitters that work are the devo 7e and the devo f7

D'oh! Thought I had a F7 (where there are nightlys available) but I see I have a "7".
So there are THREE "7"s ??? and I have two of them (yes, I have a 7e also with deviation on it but blew the diode mod so it doesn't transmit.)

Have a 10 and a F12E both with deviation on them.
I guess I will use the Devo 601 RX I have and put it on one of my unused multirotors and sell this unloved "7".

Thanks, HappyHarry but I have the 12S module to replace the internal module. Problem was I took off all the solder pads and now must try to solder to the pins that stick out.
I am in the process of moving (from the Wichita area to Dodge City and then from my rental to the house that I am having built) so a lot of my RC "stuff" is in storage... At least I HOPE it is in storage and that I can find it once I get moved into the house.
I just found my lighted magnifying glass and will attempt once again to try to solder to the pins left behind since now I MIGHT be able to see what I am doing.
WOOHOO!!! Having the right tools does make a difference! I found the wiring problem and corrected it and now my Devo7e works with deviation and I was able to bind my DSMX RX and do a range check.
