spektrum DXE buddy box

I just got a devo 10 and installed deviation and love it so far. My questions is can i use a DXE as a buddy box with my devo 10? I guessing not but i seen some guys using futaba transmitters as buddy boxs for spektrum transmitters so I figured it was worth asking.

Absolutely you can. You'll have to look up and see what to do about setting the dxe to PPM output but I'm 100% sure it's possible.

This is the place to ask how to setup the D10 as the master, you'll have to Google and find how to setup the dxe though...

You can also use a ppm capable dsmx receiver for a wireless Buddybox setup (the receiver would get installed inside the devo)

sweet. thanks for the reply. So is there a cable that could go from the dxe trainer port to the devo 10 trainer port? I don't have my dxe with me but the dsc/trainer port on the devo looks like what I remember the port on the dxe to look like.

Spectrum and Walkera both use a mono 3.5mm audio cable for the trainer cable. Most stereo cables will work as well.

I use a Dx5e for testing, etc. and have set it up as both the master & slave.

picked up a standard audio cable this weekend and it worked perfect. thanks for the help !!
