Devo 10 3 modules was created by SirDomsen
Hi,

Short question: Is it possible or useable to add 3 modules (plus CYRF 4 then) to a Devo 10? If yes, what changes are needed as there is no pin left in pin assignment for the 3rd module in hardware.ini?

Thanks

Domsen

Yes Sir, it has been proven that pad B7 on the D10 is a good connection for the 3rd module.
See the thread about the 3-in-1 Module and look at post #43726.

I believe all the info you need is contained in that post.

...or, just use the OSH Park multi-module PCB with a CC2500, nRF24L1, and A7105 transceivers, and a ATtiny24 microcontroller for switching. The DEVO 10 has the full power CYRF transceiver already in it.

It is a more sorted out solution than the 3-in-1 and 4-in1 is, at least in my opinion. Not to say that the 3-in-1 and 4-in1 modules won't eventually be just as good, after they get all of kinks worked out, such as, what revision board are you actually going to get from a vendor, LNA issues, range issues, etc. . But, there is a lot of effort in getting it to a point of being a good solution. Though, I still think the OSH Park Multi-Module method is the solution with the best results at this time. Just my opinion, YMMV.

DEVO 10 - Multi-module with nRF24L01 +PA +LNA, A7105 +PA, & CC2500 +PA +LNA transceivers.
Nightly Build: v4.0.1-548bbf5 (6/9/2015)

Thanks, men! Now I recall that I already stumbled across that thread you mentioned but forgot about it. I only had the feeling that I read that this is possible. Only Comment in the last module (CC2500 in my case, it already has a nrf and a71) and assign pin? Is it possible to assign every MCU pin that way?

Well, you could in theory assign every mcu pin that way, but you want to avoid any that are already in use.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.
