Devo F4 - Adding switches was created by Arnold
The Devo F4 does not have any switches and I want to add some. I tried to gather the information I need from the "Deviation for Devo F4" thread, but then thought it might be better to have it in another devoted (Tutorials) thread. Anyway, I haven't managed to assimilate it all in my head. So, I'll kick it off with some questions:
- What options do I have for installing several switches, both 2-position and 3-position, as well as sliders and rotating knobs? Arduino? Diodes - no diodes?
- Will it be necessary to solder wires to the MCU?
- And the obvious question - where to connect the wires?

I'd like to start with a 2-position (call it the Gear switch) and a 3-position (call it the FMode switch).
Looking for help here. Thanks! :cheer:

Sorry, but this discussion doesn't fit the tutorial category...

Thanks - yeah, after I did it, I wasn't sure that was the right place for it.

Thanks for moving it, FDR.

Any updates here? I would like to add some switches to the Devo F4 too and the instructions in the other thread are not very clear. Maybe we can create a WiKi page for it?
