The board as-is does work but I want to change the button resistor from an in line resistor to a pull-up and to add a buzzer output to D8. Again to confirm it does work but I feel this will make it more future proof.

When you say making do you mean prebuilt? If you're in the US FPVHeadquarters has it and the antenna. I have one on my most recent built.

I got 3 of the old v1 boards and wonder what's the difference to the v1.01?
Shall I order the v1.01 boards?
I have all the components waiting to be mounted.

No need to upgrade, anything above v012 works fine. It's just very minor changes between them, they all run the same FW...
The ONLY difference is how the button works, on v1.01 the buttons resistor is a pull-up, on the V0.xx boards the resistor is simply inline between D10 and the button.
There won't be a big change till ULRS_TEENSY comes out then I'll do a V2.xx board to work with it.
Computer is STILL down (probably won't be able to afford a new one till black friday) so there are no revisions coming in the immediate future... again any boards you have now work.
