Devo 12 Blue, Charging LED won't go out....

Hi,

I have Devo 12 with V4.1 software. I just charged it and now the Blue LED stays on after the radio is turned off.

I removed the battery and reinstalled. The LED comes on the second I install the battery. The radio will power up and work but the LED will not go out.

Tried a 2nd battery and it does the same.

So, the blue is the charge indicator. Everything is unpluged but still lights...

Maybe it will go out after the lipo voltage lowers?

Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks in advance...

1. No, it´s the green LED. The blue will only turn on, when USB or Charger (Power) is connected.
2. Strange, never had this on mine. Whitout battery, the Blue will turn on when USB/Charger is plug in?

If the radio has power from the battery or a charger (plug or usb) the blue led is on.

Blue led goes out when radio is on.

I just noticed that my clock battery is dead....

Installing a new clock battery did not help...

I was hoping it was a 'clock battery failure' indicator.

Nope the only indication that you're clock battery is failing is you have to keep resetting the time/date. Even not having a 1220 fitted will have no impact on your normal clock function, such as the timer running, but the clock will reset to default (jan 1st 2011 on mine) after every power down.
