So I have not modded my devo yet with the 3 in 1 module but thought I would update firmware first. So have successfully updated it to deviation-devo10-v5.0.0-c6b19b1 from nightly builds using the Dfuse version 2 tool.I have already successfully updated and modded a Devo 7e. However when I hold down ent and power on to connect as a usb device so I can transfer my files it goes into program update mode (the devo7e would show a usb symbol). Can anyone please help My 7e has died so I'm essentially grounded at the moment and it's killing me. I am using windows 10.

have you tried flashing 5.0.0 and seeing if that works?

"So have successfully updated it to deviation-devo10-v5.0.0-c6b19b1 from nightly builds using the Dfuse version 2 tool." I did this before trying any thing else.

Please start by flashing the OFFICIAL 5.0 build, what you've flashed is the most recent nightly build. BIG difference... The official build will just say "deviation-devo10-v5.0.0", the string of characters after that is a build number from a custom [nightly] build.

Also, I've never seen the devo defuse tool called "v2" anywhere else, are you sure you're using the modified Walkera / devo version linked from here on the site (I believe you can also find it on WalkeraFans.de)?

The STM tool DOES NOT work, I mean it might physically allow you to upload something but it wont be at the correct address and could definitely definitely present some MAJOR issues.

There is a v2 on the zip file and it's the version I used to update my devo 7e and that worked great for months untill it just died. Any way got version 5.0 of Deviation and that sorted my problem file copied across I just need to edit my .ini file. One more question is there a space before the |?

Thanks for the help... It's not that hard to muck this up but it is worth it.

With regards to the antenna for this module I was going to put it horizontal in the case at the top. I know This will reduce the range a bit but i tend to only fly micros so I tend to fly well under 100 meters. Any one else tried this?
