I have done the 3 in 1 mod to my devo 10 but none of the models will bind when i go to select a protocol such as syma there are no options to chose the different models as there was on my moded devo 7e I just get a reinialise option rather than bind now as well. I think it's an issue with my .ini file I tried removing the ; but then got a missing modules error. see below if any one could send me a correct .ini file for v5.0 that would be great

This is mine, I have the 4-in-1 installed.
You will have to edit the location to match where you soldered in the wiring for the module selectors.

Assuming you wired it the same as on that page I think you need the following but I am no expert at this so just give it a go!
;Only useful for transmitters with an after-market vibration motor
;enable-haptic=1
;
;switch_types: 3x2, 3x1, 2x2
;extra-switches=
;
;button_types: trim-all, trim-(left|right)-(up|down|both)
;May occur more than once if necessary.
extra-buttons=trim-all
;

; enable-cyrf6936 = B12
has_pa-cyrf6936 = 1
enable-a7105 = A13
has_pa-a7105 = 1
enable-cc2500 = A14
has_pa-cc2500 = 1
enable-nrf24l01 = B7
has_pa-nrf24l01 = 1
; enable-multimod = A13

So now I just get missing modules message when i switch the Tx on. I have tried isolating each module with a semicolon in case I wired one wrong but that didn't help. the line has_pa-a7105 | = 1 confuses me should the"|" be there? if any one can help that would be great as I'm on the verge of giving up flying. the file i'm using is below

;Only useful for transmitters with an after-market vibration motor
;enable-haptic=1
;
;switch_types: 3x2, 3x1, 2x2
;extra-switches=
;
;button_types: trim-all, trim-(left|right)-(up|down|both)
;May occur more than once if necessary.
extra-buttons=trim-all

I don't have a | there, did you copy and paste what I posted?

What file editor are you using as I think Notepad can mess things up, I use WordPad.

Yep tried what you posted same error (missing modules) then added the | as this is on the example at bangood and got the same error too. Any one else had similar issues?

www.deviationtx.com/forum/7-development/...4in1-rf-module#43726

shows what you need in your hardware ini. it should just be a case of removing the ; before each module and has pa.

note you cannot use notepad, i accidentally did this and had issues. You need to use notepad ++

I ended up having to reflash the firmwar and copy over the filesystem (not sure if reflashing was nessesary but copying over just a fresh hardware.ini didnt work)

I had the missing module problem, it went way but the module didnt work (acted like the module wasnt there * beside protocls means no module)

Use Notepad++ to edit hardware ini and do file save.
