Some time i had the same Button fail on my Devo 10. Here it was a bad crimp job from the Factory on the Connector to the Main Board, they pressed only the Plastic to the Metal and not the Copper.

-> If there is a Problem with the Carbon Rubber Pad on the Button, you can try to put some Silver conductiv Paint on it , i done this some time ago on my old Cellphone.
Only a little Drop and then let it dry over Night.
The Paint is most time selled as repair Paint for the heater Wires on Car rear Windows
German name is Leit Silber Lack

Operation done (opened button) - patient dead (corrupted) :)

I either need to hunt for a new left Walkera EXT(3)-button board, solder in a new compatible DN button or successfully exchange the three top button addons (bimetal plate, red plastic button, silver chassis) from a new one.

Chassis broke when opening -- too thin.
Bimetal plate is still not really working (no 100% press).
I only managed to get the inside of button half way back to working mode (if I short contact the 3 contacs manually).
Putting CA was the worst idea - it went inside, so bimetal plate is completely done finally.
At least the contact spray seemed to get the DOWN button inside back to somehow working. Before that it was just exiting the menu instead of going down with the selctions / menu items.

Well, flying in rain is not a good option, isn`t it?
Sorry guys, but the Devo10 is NOT water proof.
Too easy that water just goes thru the plastic buttons and seesaws.
Don`t do it!!!

So now I am looking for a DOWN button hack / workaround, maybe on the l-trim switch?:

I've already search for this 2way - 3way button on common site, but didn't find replacement parts and i'm not good enough in electronic to know what sort of button is it.

But maybe these ones can fit !!
5 way button !

Alco switch makes an identical button switch. Here is a Digikey link:

I have made two replacements on a Devo 7e and they work well with a good snappy feel. And they are only 36 cents each with a price break at 10. My new T8SG has several button switches acting up, so I am glad I have some left to fix that also.

Also, those can be fixed without desoldering the old ones, you can pry apart the little tabs on the sides, lift, replace membrane (likely the cause) then put the top back on.
