Hi,

I am new to deviation and I have oberved a behavoir that confuses me:

After implementing an example model.ini from the model list I have recognized,
that when the throttle stick is in the idle position (lowest position) the value showed
on the display was +100 !! So I had a little fear, that the motors of my quad would
immediately go to 100% throttle after arming.
Well, that was not the case, the throttle worked as it should. After arming, the motors
stayed off and by giving a little throttle they started to spin.
I do not understand why the throttle stick shows +100 then idle and -100 when full
throttle is given. I also tried to reverse the stick, but independent from the setting
(normal or reverse) the shown number of +100 is the same when the throttle
is idle.

Can anybody explain ?

thanks & kind regards

Throttle cut switch active? Wrong mixer values?

What are your throttle CHANNEL values in the monitor on a new model with the template defaults (reset)?

It shall be -100 if the stick is off is down or the TC / hold switch activated. N/R on THR channel itself?

Maybe you can configure -100/+100 for the throttle stick itself, e.g heli pitch down instead of up for some very rare pilots???
However I did not test this.

But down is -100 for me, for sure.

You need to ask the author of that model.ini file.
We can't really help without seeing the model.ini anyway...

Hi,

thanks for the answers so far. I will check with the default settings.
I think I remember that before applying any model.ini file, I saw that -100
when the stick position was on the lower end.
But as I wrote, I also got confused because of the stick simply seems
to be reversed (in terms of the output number shown in the display)
and if I go into the setting and reverse it, I don't see a change. And in
addition the actual behavoir is correct again (stick low position motor
off - stick high position - max. throttle).

But OK, so far thanks for the information that you would also expect -100 as
the value shown when the strottle stick is at the lower end.

So, I will check with the default (model20 should be still default) and in
addition, I will check and post the model.ini file here.

thanks
