Help for timer configuration was created by schwarzsurfer
Hello,
I want to configure a timer that is only active when the motor of my model is running. I have a model boat, so the throttle stick is in the middle position 0. The timer should count all time the throttle stick is not 0. I didn't find a way to manage this... do you have an idea how to solve this?
Thank you!
Marian

I created the virtual channel with source throttle, assigned the virtual channel to the timer and set the deadband funktion to +/- 3 but the timer still runs all the time...

hm I can't get it to work Even if I set the deadband to 20 or so it has no effect. What am I doing wrong? Could you show me a configuration example? That would be great...
Thank you!

You are right, it wasn't enough.
I have such a config for a car:
Source: Ch1 (if TAER, or Ch3 in case of AETR or EATR)
Curve: Deadband
Scale: 125
Offset: -100
