I have a QX90C, a X73 and a X73S all with FrSky receivers.

I've been trying to get the QX90C going (the others will come later) with my Devo 10+4-in-1, but no luck so far.

I *think* I managed to bind it by shorting the bind pins and using the Frsky protocol, since now the LED turns solid when I turn on the TX and flashes when I turn it off. However, I've no idea how to arm it. I tried figuring it out from the Cleanflight configurator, but all it shows in the receiver tab is this - ever, with no change at all no matter how much I twiddle the sticks or indeed if I turn off the transmitter altogether.

I can confirm that both the Devo and the 4-in-1 work correctly as I'm already flying my Eachine E010 and H8 Mini with it.

There are 3 different Frsky protocols. (or actually 4 as X series protocol has 2 options FCC and EU mode) Make sure you are selecting D series protocol.

I'm not sure which protocol the D series is. I have Frsky, Frsky-V8 and FrskyX, the latter as you say with FCC and EU mode. Of these, Frsky seems to be the only one to register any change on the bind LED.
