Issues with DSMX?

Do we have some document on the options inside the DSMX box, like what does high speed do, what is F.log filter, how to set up telemetry on the RX side. Even though the default works (10 out 12 channels), it would be nice to be able to use the extras.
Regards,

I haven't used it in years but was going to give it to a friend who wants to get into RC. I want to give him a plane and was going to set it up with a DSMX receiver.
My question is, what is the most stable combination of firmware and DSMX receiver to use? I dont want him to have any radio troubles... This will be for DSMX/DSM2 only.

Testing with BF 3.2.1 and these satellites I also see only 10 channels active in the configurator receiver display. Looking at the DSM code it is written to support 12 channels. The number of channels is sent to the receiver in the bind process so it needs to be set to 12 in the model file when binding. There are 12 channels of data on the satellite serial output, verified by looking at the serial data.
Took a quick look at the betaflight spektrum serial code and it is written to support 12 channels. Also tried assigning AUX8 to a function and that didn't work, so it's not just a problem with the receiver display. The docs page seems regularly updated but says just 8 channels are supported. Needs a closer look.

set max_aux_channels = 6
4 + 6 = 10
You need at CLI:
set max_aux_channels = 8
save

Busy tried fixing our electric kettle last night. I thought I fixed it but it worked only a few minutes. Have to fix it again.
Channel 11 and 12 work after changing max_aux_channels on CLI. Thanks.

The quad seems to have 'hiccups'. The motors stop every few seconds in mid-air and the quad does not respond to TX input then for a moment - that's just for the fraction of a second (maybe 0.25 sec). It's very annoying
Distance doesn't matter - it happens right in front of me or 50 meters away.
Hi,
i had exactly the same problem... Hiccups and no solid light on the rx.
After some research i found out, that the rx of the 90gt is supplied with 5V from the fc. The receiver is made for 3.3V. There is no voltage regulator on the rx. So the rx is used way out of specs.
After inserting a 3.3v ldo in the supply line i got perfect signal and solid led on the rx.
I hope this helps someone out there. Have fun flying

The KingKong flies great with the original receiver - at least with a 2S lipo.
