Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

You need to formate the USB disk on your computer, and then copy the files in the distribution to it as per the manual.

Not corrupt, just not created. This is normal, and documented in the manual, though it's the last bit in the last paragraph in the relevant section, so easy to overlook.
When the Tx doesn't recognize a file system on the sd memory, it always boots to USB mode so you can format the file system on it. Can't really do much else.

Hey I have the same exact problem as you joloebig. It's really frustrating as it happened to me 3 times since I bought the transmitter, and everytime I power it on, I'm always scared the filesystem will have a problem and I will need to redo the whole thing again. I was of course using the Deviation firmware, and still plan on using it as I just love it.
Does anyone know of any "permanent" fix to this problem? Thanks!

Do you flash library file (at "Library" tab of Dfuse) along with firmware file? For Devo 12 part of the filesystem is placed at library file.
