Is anyone able to help me with setting up free rider on my devo 7e? ive watched literally every video on youtube and i still cant get it to work.
I just updated the firmware on my devo 7e to nightly builds to the latest one and now my transmitter is saying protocol mismatch 0801fc6c 0801f738.

I'm pretty new to this and have no idea what i'm doing. Thanks in advance to anyone whos able to help.

I assume you are using the Walkera Dfuse USB Upgrade Tool to update the firmware:
After upgrading to a new DFU, next you'll have to boot the Tx into USB mode and replace all the .mod files in the protocol/ folder, with the ones associated with the new .dfu file.

If using the DeviationUpload-0.8.0.jar (Java Script app):
It will do this second step automatically for you, since you select the whole .zip file instead of the .dfu file.

Also, please note; General/General Discussions would have been a better category to post this question to.

Thanks for your reply and sorry about posting in the wrong area too.

Is there anyone who has done a video on how to do this recently? as all the videos i have seen have helped but
i'm still unsure if i've done some of the steps correctly.
