Firmware 5.0 was created by unclecrash
Hi guy's been a while , but just pulled out my devo 12s and installed the new 5.0 firmware. seems I might be missing some stuff not sure, In my e drive I have language, layout.modelico, models, template, datalog, debug devo12 4.0, errors, tx,hardware. I dont see no files for media bmp, mediafont, media sound, and media config. did I do something wrong ? Another thing a guy on rcgroups is asking about the test screen on his devo 12s he says he has no test range page I told him either did I and I believe it got left behind somehow . His is stock firmware from walkera and I could of swore it had a test range page on the stock version am I correct on this . As I know as soon as I got the version 5 firmware in mine I got the test page back along with a scanner page and was also wondering whart this does Thanks UC

For Devo 12s the media files moved to library file due to limited flash memory size.
For custom "config.ini", "sound.ini", and "toggle3.bmp" you can create "mymedia" folder. But, it will work only with "Deviation v5.0.0 build with latest protocols" with latest protocols and fixes. Or you can use Nightly Builds.

AFAIK the stock Walkera devention firmwares doesn't have built in range test function.
You can however lower the output power to 300uW or 1mW, check the range and then calculate the estimated full power range just like a range test would...

Vlad so i got to build the library like in PB's thread? Did I mess up loading 5.0 from the download page. I see you directed me to the latest protocols where I think I should have downloaded 5.0 ,but I had already downloaded off of the downloads page. Seems my clocks are stuck had this problem back a few years ago noticed they are still in 2012 every time I reset them the go back to 2012 and the date and time. I thought I read where 5.0 took care of this?

Devo 12s clock work on tablet battery. You need change clock battery, open the cover under Tx battery.
