plmask wrote: Adjusting the fine frequency by 63 worked for binding the Frsky D8 receiver. Thank you.
Range check with 100uw worked at 30 feet.
30 feet?????
that is very very little. There you will have no problems.
3000 feet must go!
with Frsky and this station is only 200 to 400 feet!
That is far too little
His range test was done at 100uW, not full power.

There is no difference between 100 and 15mW. Same result: lost signal after 2-3m DSMX / DSM2

Easiest way to check your gear.
Thirdmost important thing a serious hobby fellow should buy after a decent TX (NOT counting the iRange as that!) and a good charger imho.
edit: even no access to a RF power meter?
2nd edit:
I could check it for you, but then you won't get a chance for a replacement.

OliverST wrote: Does anyone fly a tiny6 with the small frsky Receiver which can be chosen when ordering the tiny6?
I have a lot of problems with the range, maximum isabout 30 meters and then the tiny falls from the sky. 150mW and tried freq-fine from 10 to 70 but this helps only a little bit.
Has anyone an idea how to fix this range Problem???
i would also like to fly a bigger drone (diatone gt200s) but not with this range porblems
Hello
I also had the same problems as you!
Unfortunately you have received a defective RX module.
Swap the remote control. I got a new one from Bangood.
The works without problems!

Switches B and A are three 3- position and C , D and side switches are toggle.
Not Ideal because I am used to Devo 8S and usually my models have the flight mode on the side switch which is three positions.
Maybe I can exchange places of switches and change some of the toggle switches to 3-position switches. The idea is that when I copy my models from the Devo 8S all the switches will be in the same place.
I encountered the same problem that other people have mentioned here. When I power off I have to wait some time before it can be powered on.
Do you recommend to change the firmware?

You can fix power Off/On problem by changing capacitor:
www.deviationtx.com/forum/6-general-disc...tocol?start=80#67296
You can get normal shoulder switches "G" and "H" (initially they connected to AUX knobs and havn't names) by simple mod:
www.deviationtx.com/forum/6-general-disc...tocol?start=60#67227
Yes, will be better to flash latest firmware.

Not sure about soldering, at the moment, though.

The RX module is very very bad. FrskyX is not working properly.
The range is very low. (100 feet)
We can only buy this remote maintenance. They do not bring good results. Unfortunately ... we are very sad about it.
Always problems with the range at Frsky.

See the image from above post. But for me, I would connect diodes to other outer switch pin.

Stefan_UK wrote: Hi and thank you, I watched the video which is most informative I have quality issues much the same as others. Both gimbals do not centre properly even after numerous attempts at calibration +8 and -17. The right-hand gimbal on my TX when in the home position doesn't even align with the centre markings. My less than favourable review was never published by Banggood my less than favourable comments no bad language just saying much the same as here never published. I am not allowed to post another review for this product because apparently, only people that purchased this product can submit a review. Well, I have my order details proving I purchased this product from Banggood. Only good reviews are currently being allowed on Banggood for this product. Anyway, I've been in correspondence with Banggood and have asked them to send me a replacement Gimbal Kit. I know the state of my purchased product if I can get replacement gimbals good ones from Banggood better still compatible gimbals of higher quality this would become a nice usable TX. I just love the DeviationTX platform its so easy when I'm in a rush to fly compared to open source TX on my Taranis. Regards, Stefan
PS I only really bought this TX to fly my Tiny models around the house during our Winter time here in the UK.
Banggood did the same to me Stefan. Not allowed to post even though I purchased the product. I requested a new transmitter but they appeared to mis-understand my request and sent a replacement gimbal instead. I have purchased a couple thousand dollars worth of merchandise from Banggood over the last 6 years, I'm very disappointed in their customer support on this issue. iRangeX let Banggood down and they in turn let us down. Going forward, I will only consider buying low cost items from them.
