Just a joke.
Attach the TX to your computer and test if you have access to the filesystem, if not , only formating the drive will help.
If this fails, you are at the same point where I have been two weeks ago with my 7e. Good luck.

Ok. this seems to be only a driver problem, as I mentioned before, I had this issue some weeks ago, but got no answer on the forum (ignored?)
Just from one power up to the next this had happend.
After a week of testing, I could install Walkera Devention an run it, but no chance to get Deviation back. No access to the drive for the file system. I played around with Zadig but no success. After all was messed up I tried to install the origin Windows driver again....
and now it worked for me. My Devo was back on the USB Windows track.
Got my drive back and formated. Deviation was back.
What caused this issue,....only the devs can tell.

My Windows told me, all drivers where ok but refused the drive access and formating the drive.
Once Windows was forced to reinstall the driver again , all issues were solved.
But why the Devo crashed the file system from one moment to another...I don´t know. My Devo file system had worked for FOUR years
with out any issue, I always do a save remove from the port.
Edit: Since the DFU mode is ok, your goal should be to get the USB mode on the computer working again. There is no other option.
Edit1: If nothing helps your last option is someone how knows Linux and can work with Busybox and/or file systemtools to
get the flags right for the MSdos filesystem. That´s what I did additionally.
A simple tool for Deviation that could be flashed via DFU mode and only checks the space & flags and sets those flags would be nice, but I don´t know any. .

vlad_vy wrote: Probably something is wrong with filesystem. Try to format USB drive, write filesystem and use "Safely Remove Hardware".
I was just about to try this ( the problem came back after a while) when i saw there were other users with this same problem
( CYRF not detected). I installed the latest version (19/03) and that seems to have fixed things properly, thanks a lot!
I noticed all messages went to my spam folder, fixed that too I hope. I like this TX a lot and am determined to fix all eventual problems and get to grips with the software too. Thanks for adding the (trim) flight modes as well. Can you tell me how the "virt" switches work in this context?. Are they logical switches that can be programmed somewhere?
Thanks again,
Wim

It looks like this uses the same-ish, but shielded, RF module? Edit: salvaging the IR4X should work too.
If that fixes the RF issues, it would make a relatively cheap replacement!
Maybe if I can afford it next month I'll swap it, test it and report back!
Edit: anyone tried to update the firmware on the 4IN1 module?
