T8SG V2 Jumper - no access to the file system was created by slopp
Hi all,
I am excited about the T8SG.
But after the last switch off, I now only get the USB symbol on the display.
I've done a firmware update several times. That worked.
After that I can not access the file system.
In Explorer, I am using Windows10, the drive letter of the T8SG is displayed.
Then comes the message, I should insert a disk in the USB drive.
I can neither address nor copy the file system.
The drivers for the USB drive are current (says Windows).
I suspect that the file system is corrupt, but the update worked.
Can you help me? What else can I do?
Thanks and Greetings
Steffen

Can you format USB drive? If you can, format USB drive and copy filesystem from firmware archive. Use "Safely Remove Hardware" after writing filesystem.

If you can't format transmitter USB drive, try this build, I added flash memory bulk erase in case the filesystem can't be mounted. At least you will have ability to format USB drive.

Hi,
@amax: that helped me a lot, "great idea".
@ vlad_vy: Yesterday I tried to format the drive. Windows has been bitching, it looked funny but the drive could get a formatting. After that, I have reloaded the firmware again and then the configuration files. That worked then.
Thank you

I have the same problem with a T8SG Plus. I had upgraded firmware in the past with no problems. I have experienced an issue with Lemon-RX Stabilizer Plus receivers. One of my T8SG Plus transmitters works fine with them. The other experiences frequent drop-outs on all 5 receivers. Decided to update the file system on the problem transmitter. The dfu loaded fine. Tested again and still dropouts. Copied the files from the zip file into the USB memory which I hadn't done. In the process the memory got corrupted and windows recognizes the drive but wants to format it, but the format will not work. Linux does not recognize the drive at all.
UPDATE: Apparently the dfu I loaded was what killed the ability to read and use the file system. It was deviation-t8sg_v2_plus-v5.0.0-ccc06d0.dfu. I loaded -e801244 and I was able to access, format and then copy the file system.
