S-FHSS / re - init

SO I can't get passed this !
I have 2 quads that are S-FHSS and the transmitter will not go into any sort of Bind Mode .
A) I am doing something glaringly wrong
There is some strange Deviation method
C) Something is NQR

These quads work fine on say a XK transmitter , and the other on my Taranis Q x7 with a IRANGEx module .. ( Both quads work fine on my XK transmitter )

When you're in the model configuration screen, does yours show <*FHSS> also? With a big 'ol asterix in front?

I haven't used my jumper in a couple weeks, and all of the sudden, it is acting like it forgot it has a 4:1 radio in it. I have a bunch of foamies on AFHDS-2A and now all I can do is re-init as well. No option to bind. Module is apparently enabled according to my hardware.ini

OK quick update. I reflashed the latest firmware, then went in through USB and checked my hardware.ini file. I have all of the protocols enabled again.

Interestingly enough, somehow, my T8SG V1 managed to overwrite the harware.ini with a model file.

Here's the fix.
0.5 - Download Notepad++ if you haven't already
1. Unzip the latest build to a new folder
2. Using the latest build and Dfuse, update the firmware
3. Reboot TX, and connect to USB mode
4. right click hardware.ini and make sure it looks like a hardware.ini file. Should look like my above post. If it looks like ANYTHING ELSE, copy the hardware.ini from the unzipped build folder on the PC, replacing the one on the TX.
5. Reboot tx and you should be good to go.

Time for an update ...

I found a youtube video that showed how to bind to a XK251 ...
And this helped me get a bind on my XK251 ...

Though no such luck with my Warlark ..
Not sure how I am going to hold down that bind button long enough to find the offset ...
