Devo 10 Screen issues was created by Jingang123
Hi all, I have a devo10 which if flashed with deviation v5.0 but am having some problems with the transmitter. After using it for less than 2 minutes the screen becomes blocky and unreadable.

I was wondering if anyone else on here has had the same issue with the devo10 and if so how do I fix it? I have tried replacing the battery but still getting the same issue.

Thank you in advance!

Most likely it's LCD problem. Try to reseat LCD cable, 16 pin connector, probably you also need reseat flat cable on the LCD board, under LCD screen.

@vlad_vy Thank you for your reply. Could you please elaborate on what you mean by reseating the LCD cable? I have tried removing the ribbon from the main board but still having the same issue. Do I need to remove each of the 16 wires from the ribbon connected to the LCD panel?

Simply disconnect and reconnect this cable. There is another flat cable from LCD panel to LCD board. I don't know flat cable has connector or it soldered to the LCD board.

First try to rewrite USB drive filesystem from firmware archive. Just in case if filesystem is damaged. Use Safely Remove Hardware after write.

P.S. You can test LCD with USB mode. Press ENT button and Power On transmitter, if USB symbol on the screen is not distorted, the LCD screen is OK and you need rewrite USB drive filesystem.

deviation uploader.jar. I have used this in linux have not got an apple, wife has an ipad but I am not brave enough to use it.
But I still use Notepad++ under wine for mods. When you get it to working more fun than anything.
