I have a brand new T8sg Carbon and am trying to update the firmware. I can enter USB mode and save the current config and other information. When I enter DFU mode and try to update the firmware via Dfuse, the install program does not see the transmitter. I have tried many times to use the update tools to update the driver but every time I do i get a message that the driver is up to date. I have had to use the ImpulseRC Driver fixer to get the flight controller on my quad to be recognized. I am not sure if it is an issue between the Dfuse updater and the ImpulseRC Driver fixer. The only other computer i have is a giant POS and will not recognize anything on a usb port. I have set up the radio and it works fine except the voice. I believe it needs a firmware update for that to work. The sound files are on a 64gb mini sd card installed into the radio but they dont work.
