Jumper T8SG Virtual Switch

I am running a Jumper T8sg carbon. I have set up one of the trim switches as a virtual switch. If I check the channel section I can see the switch is working as the values change when the trim switch is activated. My problem is that I can't get the switch to be recognized in betaflight. I would like to use the virtual trim switch as a momentary buzzer switch but I can't get betaflight to use the virtual switch I created on the transmitter. Any help would be greatly appreciated

So I was thinking,

Would it be easier to use the virtual/trim switch to say modify the position of the arm switch (setup as a 2 position on the radio) and add a range in betaflight for the beeper that is the Dis-armed switch with the Trim switch modification. So the disarm would go into the Beeper range when it is in the disarmed position and the trim switch is activated. I am trying to free up the beeper switch i am currently using.
