DSM2 refused 8 channels was created by Robonus
Hey guys,
I'm new here with a problem on my Devo 7e.
I've bought myself an Uruav UR85 HD, on spektrum DSM2/DSMX rx
At first it bound easily on DSMX untill i added ch8 (3-way switch) for motorbeep and ch7 (2-way switch) for turtle mode.
It would still bind, but get hiccups. Strange thing, when i remove ch8 the hiccups would be gone.
A friend mentioned this post from about 3 years ago:
https://www.deviationtx.com/forum/6-general-discussions/7114-issues-with-dsmx
So i followed advice, and with DSM2 the issues are gone but it won't let me use more than 7 channels.
So i tried to set ch7 to the 3-way switch (SW B0/1/2) but betaflight won't accept it for some reason.
Do these problems sound familiar to anyone here? I'm kind of a newbee on setting this all up.
Hope you can help

Try to enable "OrangeRX" at protocol options.

Hey, i tried turning on OrangeRX but it makes no difference, thanks for the help tho.
Also in the channel monitor ch7 always stays at a value of 99. Also in the model mixer, normally when i assign a complex 3 mixer, when you assign a switch state, you see visual feedback on the right that the input has changed. In this case it sits steady at 100 no matter the switch position.
i'm kind of confused why it wouldn't work...

Just in case, try another release. Complete the full installation as it has a different file system.
