Devo 10 freezing on latest nightly, was created by Xermalk
Devo 10 freezing on latest nightly, requires you to pull out the battery to power it of.
Only happens when it tries to start up with the attached model config loaded.
Does not save anything to the errors.txt

please file a bug and include the errors.txt. If you built it yourself, also include the elf file

The errors.txt just says "empty", and the build is freshly downloaded from todays nightly.
Im going to recheck the solder joints on the module though, as i managed to boot it up and fly my hubsan twice.
Would a bad solder joint cause the entire tx to freeze on startup, without writing anything to the errors.txt?

My soldering is fine.
The module works just fine with flysky.
Actually when i tried to bind to flysky, then change protocol to hubsan it bound just fine. And it seems to have stopped hanging at the startup.
However it takes very long for it to start up and show the hubsan binding message. It sits at a blank led screen for several seconds before the binding message appears, and sometimes it boots faster then other times.
Just remembered that i did get a errors.txt message once with it. Before i updated to the latest nightly.

Edit: some starts take 1 second, some 5-7 and just had one that took 29 seconds. And this is Only with the hubsan model file loaded on startup. It starts instantly with a flysky model file.

After a 3 minute long boot up iv decided to replace the v911 module i have in the tx.
It was working just fine in my 7e but i have no clue whats going on.
Ill use the v939 module i used for my diy flysky rx instead. And try to get the wires as short as possible for it.

Problem solved. I replaced the v911 module with a v939 module, and i made all the wires to it shorter.
wonder if it was interference from somewhere of if my old module was just kicking the bucket.
Im leaning towards interference as the flysky protocol was working just fine, and only the hubsan triggered it.
