Suggestion to save space on the 7E

Would a modular compilation be possible?
Using a website interface or small app.. i.e. if I never have any use for the nrf protocols, DSM telemetry, etc.. no need to compile them in.
That would free up some space that could be used for further features that I might consider more useful for my setup.
Just thinking out loud, I'm no programmer myself.

The protocols are already on the card space, not within the dfu file.
Loaded dynamical.
But interesting for some other function, e.g layout editor.
