Devo 7e and auto bind to wk2801, dsm2, dsmx was created by DavidJEK
Nightly build 42611fe of v4.0.1. WK2801, dsm2 and dsmx testing for auto bind. I found a way to auto bind the protocols. But the dsm2 will not auto bind after a power cycle.
wk2801
1. inserted bind plug and cleared any id that were stored.
2. power on the tx and choose the wk2801 protocol.
3. power on the 2801 without bind plug and I get a rapid flashing light in the rx.
4. choose the re-init in the tx and the binding is good.
5. power both off and power on the tx (I get a binding screen) then power on the rx and all is good.
This is using the nightly build.
dsm2
1. insert bind plug into the rx
2. power on the tx and choose the dsm2 protocol.
3. power on the rx and I get a rapid flashing light in both the main rx an the satellite rx
4. choose the bind in the tx an both get bound
5. power both down and power on the tx then the rx and I get a slow flashing light. (slow flash means the tx has been power cycled and will not bind
6. power the rx on first and when the tx is powered they bind but no binding screen on the tx when power is applied to the unit.
the dsmx binds just the way it does with my dx6i.
With my dx6i I bind both with buind plug then power off the rx and remove bind plug. Then power up the tx and then the rx and all is good.
For safety reasons the tx should be powered on first with the exception of the quads that I have.
Could not post in the bug section. Kept asking me to log on. This is meant for MWM

What receiver?
How many channels? Do you have set to 6-7CH mode?
Do you bind in A1 or ON (B2) / OFF setting?
> slow flash means the tx has been power cycled and will not bind
Really?
How shall the RX know when the TX was powered off (before) too?
How many seconds / minutes have you waited until you power on the RX again?

What receiver are you binding in DSM2? AR6210?
Shall I try to do the DSM2 with AR600 + AR6210? Unfortunately I do not have "real DSM2" receivers.
