Devo 12s 3in1 / 4in1 RF module neat installation.

Hi I am new to this forum. I bought a devo F12E can I use the 3in 1 or the 4in 1 module and is the F12E supported by deviattion.If so where do i find the download I am finding it hard to get any info.Am I even allowed to butt into this subject if anyone could give me some help as I am not getting any replies so far so I must be doing somthing wrong.Hope to hear from somebody.

Yes, it should use it. The support for it is still in development, and wasn't stable enough to be considered a release when the last release was made. You can get the the latest version in the nightly builds section of the downloads link on the left.

The 3-in-1 should work, but getting the third module enabled is different for every Tx, and requires soldering to mcu pins on some of them. I'm not sure how this is done for the F12E. You might check the wiki.

So does the 3 in 1 replace the internal module or is that just the 4 in 1? And if they do replace the internal modules that means one antenna, right?

I don't know about the 3-in-1 but the 4-in-1 does replace it and yes, just the one antenna with the 4-in-1.

Thanks for the info got deviation loaded last night but found it very confusing had to revert to devention 1.5.I will try it when i get 4 in 1 module do you know were I can buy one.

Edit: If you are getting one directly from Ren, you may have to use Bhiner if you are in the USA, because Ren can only accept Alipay.

Been asking that same question and doing some research,a select few has gotten there hands on the 4 in1 devo module directly from maker.I hear it will be available in the near futurebut I alsoI heard this in the far past,lol.

i have the same module. i tried to install it in my last 7e and it didnt work. im actually afraid to try it in this one (i may though) can you post your hardware .Ini? i think this was the big problem with my last install. and why i couldnt get it to bins with anything....

Do you want the Hardware.ini for the 4-in-1?

This is mine (Devo 10) but it will require editing if the three module select wires are connected in another order.

Hi all. I recently add a 3 in 1 module to my devo 7e. all went well.
I've included my hardware ini file and my wiring diagram, they work perfectly together.
Be very careful on the #13 connection (very tiny)!
Just follow the pdf and use the ini file provided! Voila!

I'm thinking of giving up waiting on the 13 connector Devo 4-in-1 and going with a 3-in-1 for now.

Are there any LNA issues with the 3-in-1 like there are with the 12 connector 4-in-1?
If there are new/old versions, is the Banggood one the current model or how can you tell them apart?

from what I've seen on rcg bangood are shipping the newest 4in1 module with the added 13th connection point on the left side, but they aren't stocking the version that's mounted on the devo daughterboard yet, perhaps they are unaware of it so I'll email them and ask them to stock it.

I'm unsure about the current state of the 3in1 but I seem to remember reading it's issues were fixed
