loading dfu and filesystem to 7e via stlink?

is it possible to load the dfu and the filesystem to a 7e using the stlink? I have a 7e where the usb no longer functions and I need to update the firmware as well as edit hardware.ini to enable rf modules but with no usb access it's not possible

Not without some sort of custom code on the STM32 that passes data from Stlink to flash chip.

Barring that what you need is some sort of ISP for the flash chip.

yeah that's what I was presuming, I think the dfu could be done as I think it's stored in the stm's own flash, but as you say the filesystem is stored in the external flash
