Installation Deviation was created by dannyf
Hello,
I'm a new user and was very excited to find this great tool.
Since I'm addicted to Windows I tried to install the software on Windows using the instruction from:
www.deviationtx.com/articles/7-development-on-windows
However, it didn't work and I suspect that the instructions should be updated.

The mingw installation went ok, and I chosen the required check box from the installer. For the fltk I got an error that gcc is missing. So I manually add it using the MinGW installer.

Now, when I install Deviation I got an error that CC is missing. I tried to use gcc as a workaround but I got compilation errors.

My question: How to install CC on MinGW? I couldn't find a simple solution on the web.

Thank you very much for your support,
Danny

Are you trying to install Deviation?

Or are you trying to set up a development environment to develop and build Deviation firmware?

The user manual has the instructions on how to easily install the Deviation firmware:

It seems very similar to my link except the "Building for ARM (on Windows)" section. Hopefully this is the reason.

Thanks
