No problems so far.

mwm wrote: Binding is played 2 times for some protocols because they have a 2-step binding process, and play the "completed" sound at the end of each step. Works find for beeps, but not so much with a voice alert.
Actually it is triggered every time via PROTOCOL_CheckDialogs() when the binding dialog is closed, and additionally some protocols also play binding music when leaving binding state. This doesn't make sense to me, shouldn't we choose either place, but remove the double plays?
Apart from that, I would like to wait for some more feedback on the testbuild concerning startup messages, so far only one user has issues, but major ones, so this is not ready for a pull request yet.

That's indeed what could be different, I didn't, try with different models, the non working transmitters, are both using 'FrskyX' protocol.
The Devo6 that's is working, I use it for my simulator and is set to 'USBHID'.
Will make some test, changing protocol this evening.

Actually I've got much help in here last 3 month.
(It's really hard to register here. I tried three email address and finally I got code to here )
First of all. I'm reaaally thankyou here deviationtx.
I'm newbie on RC, and (of course) still feels happy with learning something I didn't know about Deviationtx.
It's amazing!
I'm using Devo10, at first added 4in1 module. and it works great at first try.
And I've added voice output last couple of days by following deviation wiki.
http://www.deviationtx.com/wiki/voiceoutput
And I think I did it well.
connect signal on #2 on pic,
Using 8Ohm, 0.5W speaker.
Powering by debug port, and set 4.2V by pololu.
Tried sometimes and It works nice!
But problem is.... voice stucked when I set volume 9 and 10.
Same was at volume 8 first few times, but It's being Okay soon.
Volume 8 is noticable, but little quiet using outside.
I hope to perfection my beloved devo 10.
Before I added voice output, buzzer was most loud at Volume 8. Is that relate?
Anyone who thinks clue of this problem, please help me.
I should reset TX to get voice with that model.
Anyone who knows clue of this, please help me.
(Oh now I know that's normal when using FrskyX)
Below is my TX voice working, and stucking video.
Sorry about my poor english, thankyou for reading here.
and THANKYOU AGAIN DEVIATION TX!!

a) include startup sound fix
b) enable voice for FrSkyX by default
c) add a protocol option to disable voice on FrSkyX in favor of s. port telemetry output to trainer jack
Concerning the volume problem, has anyone else run into this?

I took a look at your video and noticed the display light was flashing off and back on when the voice got stuck , so this is probably a power issue. I'm not sure what's feeding Vdd on the debug port, but it seems insufficient when supplying volume levels 9 and above in your specific combination (speaker that is mainly). I don't know which step-up/step-down you chose, but they should be sufficient, so try supplying the Pololu directly from battery voltage as a first step. If this does not solve the problem try a different speaker.
