iRangeX iRX-IR8M builds was created by vlad_vy
Since iRangeX iRX-IR8M (t8sg-v5.x.x-2017-09-19) is somewhat different from Jumper T8SG I will place here the builds for iRangeX iRX-IR8M.
Changes:
* RUD and AIL reversed to comply with common direction for Deviation.
* AUX4 and AUX5 reversed to comply with common direction for Deviation.
* All switches reversed to comply with common direction for Deviation.
* batt_critical set to 3900 since iRX-IR8M can use 4xAA battery.
* LCD Internal Resistor Rate (Rb/Ra) set to 4 (0x24).

I attempted to update my iRange Transmitter using the latest build but the start screen does not show the latest build number which I assume means it did not update.
Also, The Transmitter freezes up when I try to change the icon.
Have I done something wrong?

At "About" page you have to see "ir8m-v5.x.x-2018-01-25".
Try to slow format USB drive and write filesystem from archive. Use "Safely Remove Hardware" after writing filesystem.

Thank you very much, I updated my iRangeX iRX-IRM8 without any issues. I did have to recalibrate my sticks but I guess this is to be expected. The gimbals aren't very good on this TX.

Since iRangeX iRX-IR8M (t8sg-v5.x.x-2017-09-19) is somewhat different from Jumper T8SG I will place here the builds for iRangeX iRX-IR8M.
Changes:
* Add support for 6 independent trims set.
You can use 4-6 contiguous virtual channels to setup 4-6 pos switch, then assign to trims "Switch" the first used virtual channel and you will have 4-6 independent trims set. The virtual channels switch at any state should have only single channel with +100% value, all others -100%. It's intended for for 4-6 flight modes with independent trims settings.

Hi guys,
I flashed the firmware and now I get a "Missing Modules: A7105 ..." error on startup.
Is there a way to fix this error?

Is it works "OK" before flashing firmware? Do you rewrite filesystem? If yes, try format USB drive, write filesystem from archive and use "Safely Remove Hardware".

It worked fine before flashing the firmware. Have formatted, reflashed, ejected USB safely again. Still same problem.

I don't know what may be wrong. Have you backup of original filesystem? Can you provide original "hardware.ini"? If it equal to current "hardware.ini" probably you have hardware problem.
As last resort, can you try different iRangeX iRX-IR8M build, based on v5.0.0 release core?

Hi vlad_vy,
I guess this isn't going to help JLo66 but the new firmware 2018-01-31 worked fine for me so this might be a user-specific device problem. Another thought sprung to mind JLo66 is to revert back to the original firmware (vlad_vy suggested) to see if the problem persists and if this works try the latest update again. People really need to understand that they need to Safely Remove USB media storage devices because not only the data can be lost/corrupted but on very rare occasions the storage device can be permanently damaged. JLo66 did you use the correct version of the DFU upgrade tool you should be using Walkera Dfuse USB Upgrade Tools 2.31. If I can think of anything else that might help I will post here in the meantime waiting for feedback from JLo66.
Regards, Stefan
PS What if any models was the model that was configured prior to the upgrade failure and which protocol was being used? Switch the TX on when you get the error hit the exit button to see if you can continue and then proceed with the model setup. In the model setup load a new model from scratch and configure it using a different protocol save then switch off TX wait 30 secs and power TX back on to see if the problem persists. If the problem goes away edit the model setup selecting your required protocol to see what happens.

You can "reset" any model to default state. At Model setup page, select "File: Load..." and scroll to "Reset", press ENT.

Me and my friend have really trouble using FrSky Recievers with this remote.
(We both own one)
Other recievers work fine (AFHDS 2A).
We bind the recievers and go in to the fine freq tuning on 10mW, we find the upper limit, and the lower limit,we take the average and set it to it.
When testflying this we cant get any decent range even with 150mW. (Remote was restarted after switching TX strength)
My micro dropped out of the air after 15 meters in a garage..
in an open space environment 50-100m is all we get using a FrSky R-XSR Ultra then it goes failsafe.
The Flysky X6B doesnt drop below 60 RSSI in the same environment.
Is it some bug or are we doing something wrong? Is it the internal Antenna or the TX module that is the cause of the problem?
Please Help.

I think you have the problem RF module. There are many range and other problems with RF module. It looks like iRangeX have a quality problems with RF module.
Jumper T8SG use different version 4in1 RF module with shield and almost no complaints.

Thanks man appreciate it, is there a manual or guide on how to use this thing? I am a futaba user and this is way different for me. I couldn't even figure out how to setup dual rates.
