HI škrat14, was your TX working without the USB problem straight out of the box. If so can you remember what you did prior to the USB problem occurring?

Hi Stefan my tx from the box worked a prfect for two days and then locked. Before locking I was editing channel settings for qudrocopter iachine e011 then switched off tx and went to lunch when I returned turned on tx was locked in usb mode. I tried everything from updates nothing happened replaced ent.button still locked.
I'll take photos of the base plate and upload photos to see if there's anything wrong with contacts

Please advise as to what version build prior to the malfunction that you were running? i.e. or was it using the original build from straight out of the box?

This is a long shot but I'm going to try and contact the manufacturer directly to see if there is a way to perhaps force this TX into "DFU mode" or reset this TX completely. I think this is likely to be a long drawn out process so no promises, but I will try hard to get some answers.

Wrong usb file driver and/or no valid MSDos flag at the file space....
I had the same issue some weeks ago on my 7e.

He should try to access the file area with a Linux live system (CD/DVD/USB stick), just for a test.
There is nothing to reset.

Hi aMax, In both reported cases here where the TX is loading in USB mode there would be access to the storage area as a drive. This drive can be formatted as many times as you like with no effect so I guess you must be referring to the file area where this TX boots from? If you can please detail how you fixed this problem so as to help speed up a fix for these guys. Regards, Stefan

There are more than two cases where this is reported, e.g. iR8M , Jumper and Devo7e, too much for my liking.

Not so easy to explain, you switch the transmitter off and the boot time its shows only the USB sign....my own
experience. ( firmware version was 2018-24-01)

The PC found the Devo in file mode but did not show anything and formating the drive ended up with an error
Under Linux the drive was found, but no access.....
Gparted showed two 1MB section for the 2MB file space, and only the last one could be accessed.
... so no avail.

With the Walkera defusetool I uprade a 1.87MB backupfile which I had saved on 2014 and the Walkera Devention firmware worked and all model files were ok.
This led my to the conclusion that the serial flash was ok. I tested this several times with no errors.

In the end I managed to rebuild & format the drive with Linux (mkdosfs) and thereafter it was accepted on Windows again.
In addition I reinstalled the genuine Windows USB driver.
Deviation was back.

Hi skrat14, Thanks for the board image, please take a read through what aMax has explained in a previous post as this problem has occurred across a number of TX brands. You can think of the Devo7e very much the same as the iR8M and his fix could work with your TX. I'm unavailable for a couple of days working on technical issues prior to a video shoot for a new documentary. I am also waiting for feedback through Banggood from the TX manufacturer. Regards, Stefan

I may have an easy method that might negate the need for Linux (mkdosfs) to achieve the same fix. I can't say for definite until I check it out under windows. However, the film crew I'm working with are heading out to the US on Monday so my weekend is a busy one.
