7E custom layout's was created by Cereal_Killer
Hey guy's, I've seen some pictures of some really cool looking main screen layouts. I'd never bothered before cause I didnt look at the display when flying but now that I have DSMX telemetry I find myself wanting to get it setup to read it easier in a glance. I was wondering if some of you guy's would post a pic of your setup and the files to copy it.

I would start but I'm just using the stock layout and I dont know how to edit it.

Just make the layout in the devo10 emulator, and copy the layout section into your mode.ini file...

That sounds easy enough, I've never used the emulator before. I downloaded it and got it running but I dont see how to edit the layout. Is it in the manual? I'll search now but can you point me to how to do this, what are the input's?

Well that was pretty easy to figure out. Still, I've seen some way better ones but atleast this gets me the info I need for now.

I'd still like to see anyone's who has a custom one!

Since the emulator doesn't have any space issues, I've created a test build of the 7E emulator that has the layout editor enabled. That way, you can use the model files directly, without having to move parts of the data between it and the 10 emulator.

It was in the test builds ( www.deviationtx.com/downloads-new/category/32-test-builds ), but it seems that MWM has removed it...
May be it is already included in the official build, or at least the nightly builds?
My solution can work anyway...

Yes, the layout editor was incorporated into the mainline code a while back, and should be in both the 5.0.0 release and the latest nightly. I deleted the test builds then, since cluttering the downloads up with things you shouldn't be using any more just seems like a bad idea.
