In fact this is a 'fake' boot splash ... this is a (splash_) page which is called before the main page, this (splash_) page exit after a few time or if the user press on any button.

Sorry, mixed it up. My Devo time is long ago.domcars0 wrote: You've just to press any button to stop it...

The shutdown music was annoying and has been deleted, not startup.
The music is played in the background so the main screen appears immediately (unless a binding dialog is shown).
So I agree: if it is stoppeable with a button this will not bother anybody.
As I said: I really like this idea of a moving logo - I only feared some resistance.

Once on the real Devo10, the result is not so nice.
In fact we can't refresh the screen too often.
Animated pictures on the 128x64x1 screens are really not in HD
~5FPS is probably the higher possible frame rate.
As I do not have a Devo 6/8/12 I don't known how it can be on this screens...

This is the Sunvsuv one (Deviation 10)
and another
You've just to copy the file on the Devo 7e/10 filesystem as media/splash.bmp

I tried this yesterday - made up a file - trued to drop it in the media folder - pop says that 'Not eough battery power to safe file" - display shows 8,75v !
Any suggestions?
I have to confess that I am somewhat skeptical about this Tx being a normal working rig because its a refund paid for item for a Syma X8 that was beyond control. So I have to wonder if anything they sell is "new".
So just asking if the pop up power warning is valid. Plodded through the manual but saw nothing
