How to upgrade Devo TX to Deviation Firmware

I just downloaded V4.0.1. My "How to video" on page one of this thread will be
different for V4 when it comes to the part to copy files over to the transmitter. The files and folders for V2.1 and V3 are going to be different for V4 I see. Also there is no "File System folder".
I am going to edit my video description to list the video is for V2.1 and V3.
Maybe I can make another "How to video" for V4 once I figure out how to do it myself (which files to copy over). Or just edit the current video and add in a video on which files to copy over to the transmitter for V4 assuming all the other procedures are the same from start to finish.

The screen shot shows which files/folders to copy over. I will try it out when I get a chance.
Is it OK with you if I show the sections "2.1 New installation" and "2.2 Upgrade notes" in my video also?
Thanks.

I have the driver issue that other Win7 folks noted, and also agree, this:
image.helipal.com/helipal-devo8-update-firmware-big-1.jpg
is a fairly nice reference.
Loading DevoDfuSe 2.0 installs 32b XP no hickup, all fine. But on Win7 64b, the driver does not load, and even attempting a manual driver install, by pointing to the directory
C:\Program Files (x86)\DeventionTX Upgrade Tools\Driver
Neither X86 nor X64, Appears to work. Both cases, 'driver not found', though .SYS file is present.
Doubt this is a factor, but note that this Dell XPS 15z has a STmicorelectonics fall sensor (accel).
If this is answered elsewhere, prior, my apologies.
Any suggestion, or thoughts appreciated.

I just made a Step by Step How to Video on upgrading the Devo Transmitter firmware to the Deviation Firmware V4.
Can you edit your first post in this thread and insert what I posted below the line? You can copy and paste it. If needed you can edit my post so you can access the YouTube links.
I added the new video to my web site also where I have the first video posted.

I have the DEVO 10 system and in less than about 15 min. it was finished.
I was apprehensive but thought what the heck. WORKS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now I do not have to haul out 3 different transmitters to the field when I go flying.
You folks have provided a great service and product to us folks in the hobby/sport.
keep up the great work guys.

also bound one of my orange receivers to the DEVO 10TX and figured out how to do that. very easy actually. now, I just have to remember how I did it. LOL
Hey, at 60, the first thing to go is the memory, right? LOL

OK, so why wouldnt it upgrade back to the stock firmware? Thanks for any help.
Do I need to go in, delete all of the files from v4 and reformat the drive before trying to put the stock firmware back?

I have 2 Devo 8S tx's and a Devo 8 that were running Deviation v4, so I took the Dev8, went back into USB mode, deleted all the files, then ran the Defuse updater, and reflashed the stock firmware back into the Devo 8, and it seemed to work.
I havent gotten to try it on the Devo8S yet.
