Devo 10 battery tray mod

Hello,
while being on vacation I was forced to buy a lifepo transmitter battery because my original eneloop battery broke.
The only thing i could get was a 2s LiFePo 2000mAh ( www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__2381...ransmitter_Pack.html ). Which is way too big for the stock battery tray.
So first I dissassembled my devo.
Then I marked where to cut.



After that I just got the dremel tool and cut it out.



To prevent the battery from moving I used some velcro mounted in the battery tray.

To have the ability to charge it via the round plug, I cut the white wire and connected it to the red wire.
Now you can charge with a normal charger:

Nice. I have a 1800mah LIFE from HK that fits perfectly. I believe it was for the taranis originally. I just wish I had more capacity. Im charging every week. Nice mod. Pics would be great!
