Devo 10 - as new - its value is??? was created by QC102
I have a Devo 10 , RX601 and 11.1v 2200maH lipo.
I also have a white RX1002 which so far has not been used other than to test it was OK on delivery.
The whole kit is basically unused other than during bench setups and tests in the back garden.
It is the Black version - as new out of the box - no dents, scratches or marks of any kind.

I am in no rush to sell - but thinking about the Devo 12 which I am told is more visual on the settings and easier to programme than Devo 10... I am sure its users can advise,
So I am looking at the current value of the Devo 10 and all its bits.
To complicate anything - I am in Australia, Central Coast and about 100klm North of Sydney.

(mods if i am out of order asking here...sorry)

Value is hard to say. I'd check ebay and see what they were going for there. I'm a cheapskate, and seldom pay more than half of new cost for used items, even in "like new" condition.

You might also look at the Devo 8. It has a color touch screen like the 12 at a much lower cost. The inputs resemble the 10, not the 12 - the 8 is the same as the 10, except missing the AUX4 and AUX5 analog knobs. For that matter, the 6 - running the nightly build - can be modded to add the extra switches & buttons the 8 has that it doesn't, only in a small form factor at an even lower cost - if you can find it.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

Value depends a lot on whether or not it has ever been opened up and had its guts fiddled about with, like soldering wires to the CYRF module or motherboard, past posts on forums about problems with modifications, etc... .

Basically, it is up to you to determine how much you need to get for it. It has no value if it just sits on a shelf, waiting to be put in a box destined for the local Goodwill or Salvation Army.

Nice answers - but not very helpful

I think it depends in which area you live in USA I have seen that such things have a higher price level than in Europe.

I bought my 2.hand DEVO 10 with a price of 115 € with 1002 reciever (eBay). A new one is the price 125 € up to 165 €. eBay has the issue to be to expensive to sell. An alternative to this market is not easy to find I have look but this forums are the most threads more than 1 year old.

and of course the orginal packing and the seal not broken is a good agument to find a good price.

my way is to look and watch my most wanted thing in eBay.

thats my eperience of the European market.

have anyone similar please tell us if you want

There's one on ebay Aus for aud$180, but you can also buy 'em from bangood for aud$160 shipped (sans RX though).
Looks like something similar sold in the US on rcgroups for US$125

Don't know how much demand there is for them? Chuck $200 on it and see how it goes.

Something is happening with Devo's - the price is down all over in US on eBay. $100 for new white Devo 10 with receiver, $50 for Devo 4. Either they're closing the line altogether and trying to get rid of stock, or newcomers like Radiolink make some market pressure.

Same here in Europe. The Devo7e is down from 79 EUR to 49.90 EUR.
Thinking about catching one just for spare parts.

I really hate that bit where the page flips and I Lose whatever I wrote...
Sorry for delay in reply and thanks to all those who commented,- been busy sorting gardens out before the rain arrived here in aussie

The Devo 10 came as part of refund from EverBuying - It did not get used for weeks waiting for parts for a 450 frame to arrive.
To be honest it seemed far to complicated for my needs and I never did get used to it. I purchased a Turnigy i10 and find its a lot easier for me to deal with.
The Devo 10 was put away and not used again - also have a RX1002 ( white) and a black RX601.

So I will be putting it in the market place soon.
