I found the model icon for the mSRx, but no config. Can anybody please provide the config for the Blade mSRx and/or Blade mSR? I tried normal 6 CH Heli template, but I was not able to get the correct controls
Thx a lot,
Alexander

(By the way Alexander, the mSRX is a 4 channel helicopter)

- When you select DSM2 as the protocol the order of the channel output automatically changes to TAER, BUT in the mixes them selves, the INPUT on the channel doesn't (as of version 2.0.x, it may change). So you'll need to go through the channel 1 mix (the button that says simple) then change the input from ELE to THR. Do the reverse on channel 3.
- The MSRX settings from blade say it's a 90 degree single servo heli, which means that NO ccpm mixing is needed in the TX.
- For my DSM heli's I always use the fixed ID, just seemed to work better. (I have had to rebind from time to time)
So, this should get you in the air;
Go to a new model, select DMS2 as the protocol, leave it at 7 channel (it's telling deViation to act like a Dx7, it's got nothing to do with the number of channels on the RX. (not 100% true, but it's a good way to think about it)).
Go back to the mixer, hit the Simple button next to the top channel, select THR as the input.
Go back, hit the Simple button next to the third channel, select ELE as the input.
GOOD idea; Hit the Channel output button (1-THR). Turn on the safety switch, most of us are using the RUD DR switch, the one on the top left side. Set Safe Value to -100. Get into trouble, flip that switch and you cut the motor.
That easy... that should get you in the air. However you may want to lower the rates on the ELE and AIL. Just go back into mix, and set the scale to 70% or what ever you like.
Please let me know how this works out for you, I don't have an MSRx to try it on.

I tried 6 CH Heli template and a different swash plate setup and finally got the mSRx working with my Devo 8
See the attached the config-file for details. Mix switch is for dual rates.
Nevertheless, I cannot get the Blade mSR to work... the servos are moving as I move the sticks, but not the correct servo/directions.
@Hexperience: Thx for the tips!
Regards,
Alexander

ELE? Are you sure?
For security THR is off when gear is 0.
You can chance this under Mixer/1-THR/Safety if you want.

wouldn't it be sufficient to have a safety switch for throttle? This is the way I configure my helis usually. Can you explain the advantage of switching off elevator? Waht could it help?

Struggling to get some sort of beginner setting for the MSRX working, that keeps the head-hold mode.
