Trex 500 FlyBar with 2801

Attached is my set up for my Trex 500 Flybar, Logictec 2100 Gyro. Swash is at 55,55,60, Travel Adjustments 100%, Expo/DR at 100/20 on 1 for both Ele/Ail. 100/Line on 2. Rudder is 60/30 because gyro is very fast. Gyro at 30/-50 for to modes (your will probably be different)
You have to set the trims for your heli and check all servo movement, plus the CCPM movement. Took me a while to figure it out but once I inverted the Ail in swash mix section it was all good.
Once again, don't forget to change title to model#.ini

Anyone: How easy is it to modify this model config to use an AR6100e 6Ch DSM2 Rx? I have a flybar 450.

Not sure where I need to change the channel assignments.
I understand trims, swash mixes will also need tweaking.

here is my DSMX version T-rex 450 FB for DEVO 10. I fly it frequently, works so far.
Just set it to DSM2, bind and try

AR6115e (from left to right):
AUX1: pitch servo: front, upper.
GEAR: Gyro gain
RUDD: Gyro
ELEV: elevon servo: rear (outside on the left)
AILE: aileron servo: front, bottom.
THRO: ESC

Functions:
- 3 filght modes, curves by the T-rex manual FMOD
- "Sticky" throttle hold, RUDD D/R + Throttle lever to bottom first
- Hover pitch adjust, ELEV D/R + AUX4
- 3 gyro sensitivity, 2 fixed Head hold, higher and lower, 3rd is live pot variable for setup, both rate + HH mode, MIX, AUX5
- 1 stop watch + 1 countdown, throttle start and AILE D/R reset

Screen:
- 4 trims
- left: stopwatch + count down
- right, from top: cyclic, throttle, gyro gain

Going to try this out tonight,

All good, but no aileron control. The front servo's are respoding to elevator input, and collective, but no roll control.
I'm having a peek around now.
Ideas?

Edit: Must have lost a mixer changing to 6 channels - stick input showing cyclic roll input, but channel monitor showing no corresponding output.

yep - need to have 7... dunno why, but works only like this

I like the gyro gain on to aux pot.
I had my first crash today - thought it was a disaster seeing blades flying, but it was only the training gear going into orbit. Did break one plastic main blade grip, so pretty much no damage at all.

I still remember the damp crrrach noise of the woodies breaking on my Honey Bee King 2 - that was my first heli + first crash... of many
I hope it was not due to the .ini file

Not really Deviation related...and this is getting off topic... but as this is your 1st crash: do disassemble fully the complete head and check for bends otherwise you'll have baaad vibrations and more crashes...

Wasn't your .ini - I was using another. And it was my fault, I had just woken up after a day sleep (on night shifts), was too tired. But the little fella wanted to see the heli, what's a bloke to do?

I have a complete new head to put on, and no replacement parts for the plastic head, but I'll disassemble and check for straightness.
