Blade 400? was created by rossyan
Does anyone has an ini for Eflite blade 400?
I am trying to set it up with a DEVO 8S

I found the BNF manual and got the instruction for DX7 setup.
In the pitch curve section, the instruction says

Pitch Curves (PITCH CURVE)

Point–L Point–1 Point–2 Point–3 Point–H
NORM 35.0% INH 50.0% INH 100.0%
ST–1 0.0% INH 50.0% INH 100.0%
ST–2 0.0% INH 50.0% INH 100.0%
HOLD 35.0% INH 50.0% INH 100.0%

Does 50% mean 0 under deviation 4.0?
So the pitch curve under standard menu should be

Normal -30 0 100
Idle Up 1 -100 0 100
Idle Up 2 -100 0 100
Hold -30 0 100

Is it right?

Glad someone else has a Blade 400. There is a post here somewhere that shows how to convert the figures to Deviationtx.

I too would like a model config. Going to take a look around ;)

Hi
I'm in search for a .ini file for devo 7e. Does somebody have one to share? Thanks a lot.

I'm looking for a Blade 400 set-up as well. But I can tell you the pitch curve above is wrong. 50% does not equal 0% in Deviation speak. Your pitch curve should look like:

Normal - 30 50 100 (if your only using a three point curve)
Idle up 1 - 80 70 80
Idle up 2 - 100 100 100
hold - 0 (or -100, can't remember spectrum off hand)

So, I will build the .ini for mine, test it and post it to this thread, we aall can refine it. ...tp

Those look like throttle curves, not the pitch curves.

And yes, 50% on Spektrum is 0 on deviation. To go from Spektrum (0-100) to deviation (-100 to 100), you double the value and subtract 100.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.

Thanks mwm,
You're absolutely right, I'm kinda noob, sorry. Anyhow, here is my take on a Blade 400, a couple words of caution or adjustment points (because of the physical make-up of my heli).

This file is built for a Devo 10 running 4.01, you may have to reassign different switches for your controls.

I use RUDD D/R for throttle lock and FMOD to toggle to 3D mode, so use caution!!

FMOD has three throttle curves, Normal, 3D and 3D.

Exponential is set for 30%.

Rudder is set for only 50% scalar, due to my rudders' physical configuration.

I'm sure virtual channels could be used to make this file more functional and switches can be added for more control, but it was fun to build this to my current ability.

I have flown this configuration on my blade 400, and it works just fine for starters. Enjoy and share your thoughts. ...tp
