deviation 4.0.1 settings for qr x350 devo 8s

I am new to Deviation and QR X350 can you please help me how setting for my QR X350 with devo 8s . I am using devo RX702 receiver . and i have downloaded some of config templet files but my QR X350 behaving differently
1) Do i need to change mode helicopter to Airplane ..?
2) i have used some Qard config .ini files with Helicopter mode it is responding but not functioning properly and it is flips

Please Please help me. I am beginner and not much knowledge on this .
