I thought my skills are good so I switched to 3D and .... I have to practice mode I cannot even fly the same figures like in 2D modes . But I love it.
If someone needs setup for Devo7E with two 3 positions switches mod I've got one and working like a charm, deviation is the best thing on the world.

Wow i see the CPS is a little different then the CPX i have
my flight modes are different than the assisted stuff on the s model ... the trick is going to be the correct channel and constant values that it needs to function ... maybe -1/0/1 or -100/0/100 for the 3 flight options .

But also can someone provide a video like mine but when it works properly ?
I really wanna see how servos suppose to act.
Because I am not sure but I think I have had the same problem with my Mini CP long time ago and maybe it is
my controller fault ? However it would be weird if it works on Stability mode only.
Thanks.

What I did with my ini, I copied channel settings from ini file from this thread and changes names of switches.
As a test you can get rid of safetysw=RUD DR1
When battery is low it flashes with a red led.

position and the stunt mode switch is not in the 0 position."
What is stunt mode and what switch controls it?

As I said, take you ini, take the ini from the first post, and copy all channel settings, but not gui settings, leave it from your ini.
And calibrate your devo too.
And when it's ready, turn on your radio, go to binding option, but battery in heli and wait until blue led flashes, then throttle on max bottom right, and press bind.

the first throttle curve on CH1 when you have FMOD 0 should start with -100
after you bind your heli, you should be FMOD 0 and RUD DR 0 and have the trottle stick to the lowest. then you will be able to spool up

My question now is how can I "translate" the Spektrum pitch/throttle curves. I am between buying a DX7 ($300) and a Devo 10 ($130) as a back-up/buddy box tx and was going to get the DX7 because I don't want to spend all my time programming and more of it flying. However if I can just read the DX7 (or whatever is closest) settings and enter them in I will get the Devo 10. How come the Spektrum programming throttle curve starts at 0 and it works but mine doesn't? I
Again thank you so much for those of you who replied (and so amazingly quickly - it was exhilarating to have it spool up and take off!)

on DX7 the lowest is 0 and the highest is 100, the middle is 50
on the deviation TX, the lowest is -100, the highest is +100 and the middle is 0
for exemple, the DX7 ask for 30 for the first point of the pitch, it means it is 20 less than the middle point of 50 on a scale of 100 if you want to translate this on a scale of 200 it will be 40 less the middle point in the deviation : 0-40 = -40
in DX7 value of 75 will translate into 50 in deviation
and 25 in DX7 will be -50 in deviation

Also does that mean DX7 50 = Devo 0?
Also how can anyone figure out the values for things like the panic switch and the safe/agility/3d mode? I only know cause someone here posted the (ch5 -100/0/100)

Can I port it as is to my 7e to see if the Deviation 4.0.1 install works as expected? For every step, I like to have a test.Joshua wrote: Here my Devo8 S file for the new Blade Nano CP S
